| Here's a couple of back in the day shots for you. These are from the night I bought 6S193. The car was just outside of New Oleans. A friend and I flew down to New Orleans on a Friday evening. Stuart Lasseigne who owned the car, picked us up at the airport. We went to his place to check it out and I had to test drive it in the dark and rain. We only bought 1 way plane tickets, so I was really hoping it as a going to be a good car. Pictures a thru e (below) were taken at his place. As soon as I bought the car we headed back to Minneapolis, driving most of the night but stopping for a little nap somewhere. Looking back now, I had no concern that the car wouldn't make it back. I might have felt different if I was older, but being young and buying the car of your dreams, you don't think of the problems that might pop up. Pictures f thru i (below) were taken at my home in Minneapolis on Saturday morning. |
